The Florida Department of Environmental Protection and Volusia County collaborated to create Andrinopoulos Park, commonly known as Seaspray Park, which opened in 2009. This park, along with Beachcomber Park, is slated to be one of the city's first two trailheads for a proposed recreational route. It has environmentally friendly elements including recycled construction materials and native vegetation. Andrinopoulos Park is 1.1 acres in size and features a small play area for kids, a gazebo for shade, and 68 off-beach parking places. There are no facilities in the park, which is roughly a half-mile from Frank Rendon Park.
