Sandpiper Golf Club

Sandpiper Golf Club consists of three nine-hole courses: the Oaks, Palms, and Lakes. Mark Mahanna built this 27-hole facility, which first opened in 1968 as an 18-hole course. In 1985, Ron Garl, who created the adjacent Falcon Watch, introduced the third nine. The three nines are par-36 holes with tees ranging from 2,717 to 3,258 yards. The Palms, Sandpiper's original nine, is known for its tiny, generally raised greens. The Lakes has a meandering and mountainous route that goes into and out of a valley. It's without a doubt the most difficult off the tee, forcing golfers to shape their shots and strike fairways. It also features the most expansive greens, which isn't necessarily a good thing.
