Indian River Lagoon Park near New Smyrna Beach is a popular spot for walkers, birders, and paddlers. It has a picturesque walkway, a pavilion with picnic tables, and two docks, one on an Indian River estuary and the other overlooking Brown's Bay. It also serves as a launching place for canoes and kayaks on Volusia County's Mosquito Lagoon Blueways, which run from New Smyrna to areas south of Turtle Mound in the Canaveral National Seashore.
