Erected as an auditorium in 1949 and was part of Daytona Beach's rich black history, is now a thriving education center. The location is still part of the Black Heritage Trail. The T.R. Faircloth Gymnasium is located in Midtown, which is also home to the Cypress Aquatics Center and Cypress Street Park.
