Smyrna Dunes Park is a beautiful park located near the northern end of New Smyrna Beach. It's a terrific area to go for a run, with a 1.6-mile boardwalk track winding through and over dunes, with views of the ocean, some covered canopy, desert-like landscape, and views of the Ponce Inlet and lighthouse. There are some natural pathways as well. Enjoy as many miles as you like on the rough, compacted sand of New Smyrna Beach for a longer run.
